Who started CloudCPA?
Our journey started in 2016. Co-founders Marco and Mohammad previously worked together at a small accounting firm, but quickly realized that there was a better way of offering service to clients with the help of technology. Our mission is to provide exceptional and timely service with a focus on delivering state-of-the-art client experience. You’re a passionate business owner that has tried to wear all the hats, but you’re feeling overwhelmed and have fallen behind with your accounting. Hiring part-time/full-time bookkeepers can be stressful and now you’re looking to outsource your accounting.
What type of services do CloudCPA offer?
We offer a complete back-office accounting solution. Bookkeeping, year-end accounting services and tax planning come standard for all of our clients. We also offer payroll, accounts payable and CFO advisory services. We are CPA-licenced public accountants, so rest assured, you’re in good hands!

With CloudCPA, what you see is what you get. We do not outsource our work, and all our team members are in-house, located across Canada.
How does the sales/proposal process work?
We first schedule a call to learn more about your business, the challenges you’re facing and your needs. We then have a follow-up call to work out a plan and go through multiple options that would best fit your business. A final call will go over our proposed solutions, scope of work, and pricing.
How quickly do you respond to emails?
We strive to respond within 1 business day. If we are unable to come up with a solution right away, we will acknowledge your email and provide a timeline of when you can expect a response.
How much will it cost?
“It depends” may be a typical accountant’s response, but it’s true.
Each client is unique with different goals and needs, and we pride ourselves on delivering solutions tailored to your budget and requirements. Transparency is important to us, and that is why we provide up-front fixed-fee pricing to our clients. You will never get a surprise bill from us – that’s our promise.
How do I pay you?
Once the agreements are signed, the amount will be withdrawn monthly from your bank account through a pre-authorized debit arrangement. We use plooto to process our collections.
Do I pay extra for software apps?
Nope! It’s already built into our fees.
Is support included in the price?
Yes, 100%! We hate the idea of charging by the hour. Our price includes unlimited support throughout the year and we encourage our clients to give us a call if they have any questions.
My previous accountant never got back to me. How will you be different?

Will I have one main point of contact?
Yes, you will have a dedicated team member assigned to you.
What level of support should I expect?
Our well-rounded team brings expertise from different areas of accounting and taxation. Whether you have an issue with QBO, CRA, or payroll, our team will be there for you.
How can I get in touch with you?
We offer support through video call, screen share, email, and phone.
Which software do you primarily work with?
We primarily work with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Xero. We also bring in other suites of apps that integrate with your accounting software. These include Dext (previously Receipt Bank) and HubDoc, which will build the ideal workflow for collaboration and document sharing.
Can I cancel at any time?
Absolutely. You can cancel at any time with 30 days’ notice.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
If for any reason you decide to leave, we will securely transfer any data on your business over to you. This will include accounting files, of which you will take ownership.
